The Detroit Bus Company has adopted multiple policies to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, including the fast moving Omicron variant, to employees and our guests.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 we require all guest to:
- Bring proof of vaccination and/or a negative test from the last 72 hours before the event.
- Bring a valid photo ID that matches proof of vaccination.
This policy applies to all public ticketed tours. No refunds for those who choose not to comply with it. Read on for more details, including exceptions for private charters.
More Details:
The following policies, including proof of vaccination, apply to public tours because by their nature these types of trips may involve both public ticket sales and public venues.
Vaccination Status or Negative Test
- All guests on public tours must be vaccinated and must be able to show proof of vaccination and/or a negative test from 72 hours prior to the event. However, we do not require proof of vaccination or negative tests for private charters such as school field trips, wedding shuttles, or private tours.
- Messaging regarding the Detroit Bus Company’s vaccine policy will be provided to each guest via our website, during the checkout process, in the confirmation email, and in reminder emails.
- Guests must prove their status when boarding the bus. If they cannot prove vaccination status or a negative test via the accepted methods listed below, they will not be permitted to board the bus nor will they be eligible for a refund.
Let’s all help each other stay healthy.
