Chappellfest: The Chappell Roan Sing-Along Bar Crawl

This wonderful experience is on ice right now but may return in the future. 🌈

Description

If you’ve been humming bars to Pink Pony Club, body rolling to Hot to Go, and just generally having a Chappell/Brat/Billie hot girl summer, this is the perfect end of season bash for you. Assemble the squad and dress to the NINES for an epic night out as we hit three of the premier gay bars in metro Detroit. Plan to drink and dance the night away as we chauffeur the party, playing all the pop princess hits on our decked out art buses. Enthusiastic singalongs very encouraged – we want those vocal chords shredded by the end of the night!

One weekend only so get those tickets ASAP! Drinks are not included in ticket price, just rides and vibes! (Peace sign emoji, star circle emoji).

Stops at 3 of the Best Queer Bars: Explore the vibrant nightlife at SoHo in Ferndale, Pronto! in Royal Oak, and Menjos in Detroit. Stay at any location as long as you like, then hop on the next bus to your next destination.

Chappell Roan Sing-Along: On the bus, we’ll be belting out all your favorite Chappell Roan hits sing-along style! Bring your energy and your voice – you’ll need them!

Continuous Shuttle Loop: Our buses will be shuttling in a continuous loop from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, so you can enjoy each spot at your own pace. Just hop on when you’re ready for your next stop.

Art Buses: Travel in style! Our buses are rolling pieces of art, painted by local Detroit muralists. You’ll turn heads as you ride through the city.

Runway Competition: Bust out your best Coachella outfit or drag costume and get ready to strut your stuff! At the end of the night, we’ll host a runway-style competition with prizes for the best outfits.

Where We’re Going

Open since 2004, Soho continues to be the area’s most premier gay bar, catering to the LGBTQIA+ community. It features a diverse and easy-going environment where all are welcome! Embrace the stylish, yet casual lounge, located in the epicenter of Ferndale’s  Downtown Entertainment District.

Pronto! is Royal Oak’s premiere destination for shows, music, dancing, and the best late-night party in the city! A staple since 1991, Pronto! Restaurant & Showbar is a local pioneer and a cornerstone of the community. Enjoy our private spacious patio. One of Downtown Royal Oak’s largest!

Menjos is a unique Detroit gay nightclub near the Highland Park area. This long-running venue is a huge complex that features drinks, live DJ’s, a state-of-the-art sound system pumping out the best in classic house & disco music into the small hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the refund policy?

We’ll gladly refund your tickets in full 14 days prior to the day of the event. After that, there’s no refunds. Sorry to be so mean about it. If you want to change the date or cancel your tickets up to 14 days before the event, you can do so using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us. Way easy.

What happens if I miss the bus? Will the bus wait for me if I’m late?

Our buses will be looping for the whole duration of the event, so if you miss one there will be another one shortly behind. No worries!

Can I drink on the bus? I like some beer with my cheer.

Since this tour is a shuttle loop style, belongings will not be able to be left on the bus. Establishments won’t allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverages inside, so you’d need to have your drink disposed of before leaving the bus. That said, we’d highly discourage bringing your own drinks. We don’t want you to waste them! There will be adult beverages available for purchase at all three drop-off locations.

Is this tour kid friendly?

Unfortunately, this tour is NOT kid-friendly. This event is designed for an adult crowd, with stops at bars and nightclubs, and some of our guests will be drinking. The minimum age for this tour is 21 and up. We want to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, so please bring valid ID.

What about food and soft drinks?

Two of our locations will have food available for purchase. Soho’s kitchen is open from 4pm-9pm and Pronto!’s cafe is open from 3pm-8pm, however keep in mind that ordering food during peak bar hours could take a while, so depending on how long you plan on spending at each bar – you’ll probably wanna eat a real dinner beforehand.

What if I can’t show up? Will my friend be able to go instead?

Totally. Just let us know ahead of time via [email protected] and we’ll update your tickets with the new name or send them with your printed tickets.

Will you be selling extra seats at the bus?

Nope. Sorry. All passes gotta be bought online. There’s a limited number of seats and we want you to have plenty of room – no roof riders no matter how cool that might sound.

What about weather SNAFUs?

We live in Michigan. Sometimes Mother Nature likes to throw us a curveball. We keep safety as our highest priority. In case of super bad weather you’ll receive an email the day of the event with a raincheck/snowcheck date. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, you’ll get a voucher good for a future tour with us or a refund. Weather calls are up to us.

Do you do this tour for private groups?

Yes indeed we do! We book out whole buses to private groups to do this tour on their own. Reach out to us right here and we’ll get you a quote. This usually makes sense for groups of 30 or more. There are very few dates available so book now if this is what you’re into!

With every seat you purchase on one of our experiences, we will give a Detroit kid in need of a safe ride to school or after-school program.

Ride for ride.
