Introduction
Thank you for choosing The Detroit Bus Company! By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to keep everyone safe, informed, and having fun. The legal entity providing these tours is Make No Little Plans LLC.
1. Refund Policy
Tickets are nonrefundable, except in the following circumstances:
- The Detroit Bus Company is completely unable to operate (e.g., extreme weather, fully closed operations for internal reasons).
- Transportation cancellations prohibit a customer from being able to get to Detroit for which they have purchased a Detroit Bus Company ticket (proof required, e.g., flight cancellation).
- A customer’s credit card was charged more than once for the same transaction.
The Detroit Bus Company reserves the right to offer a full or partial refund in all circumstances.
Refunds are NOT given for the following:
- Bad weather, if the bus is operating.
- Complaints about traffic and/or buses taking a long time to arrive.
- Long lines for a bus.
- Employee complaints (other than in extreme cases determined by management).
- Bus temperature being too hot or too cold.
- Disliking the guide on board.
- Complaints relating to other attractions included in packages.
- Audio issues.
- Tickets purchased through third-party suppliers.
2. Media Release
By participating in our tours, you agree that Make No Little Plans LLC (The Detroit Bus Company) may capture photos and videos that may include you. These images may be used for social media, marketing, or promotional purposes. We aim to show off the best of Detroit and our incredible community—your smile might be the one that inspires others to join in the fun!
3. Liability Waiver
You understand and accept that participation in our tours involves some inherent risks, including but not limited to transportation risks and activities at tour stops. By purchasing a ticket, you waive any claims against Make No Little Plans LLC, its employees, and partners for any injuries, damages, or losses that might occur during the tour. We prioritize your safety and strive to provide an enjoyable and secure experience, but personal responsibility is key.
4. Arbitration Agreement
In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved informally, you agree that such disputes will be settled through binding arbitration, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. This means we’ll work things out through arbitration rather than in court, helping us reach a resolution quickly and efficiently.
5. General Conduct
We want everyone to have a good time! Please follow the instructions of our guides and treat fellow participants with respect. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the tour if they are causing disruptions or posing a safety risk.
