Caring for our community during COVID-19

Hi y’all:

Things are a little spooky right now with the COVID-19 outbreak. The health and safety of our little community is our biggest concern so I wanted to take a minute and let you know what we’re doing to protect our riders, drivers and tour guides. We’re all for prevention so here’s what actions we are taking right this minute:

Closely monitoring the situation via the CDC. We’re following updates on COVID-19, including guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials. We’ll continue to take actions necessary to help protect our community.

Specifically, if we are notified of a driver or tour guide that has been confirmed with COVID-19 or is experiencing symptoms we’ll immediately suspend their participation in providing our services. We’ll make sure they’re cared for at home on paid leave until they’re confirmed healthy by a medical professional.

Sanitizing all buses after each run. We’ve purchased a special disinfectant called TB Quat designed specifically to destroy coronavirus. We’re treating all contact surfaces on our buses with after each and every run including all of our private charters, private tours and public tours.

Supporting drivers and guides. We will provide funds to drivers and guides should they be diagnosed with COVID-19 or put under individual quarantine by a public health agency. This helps support drivers and guides financially when they can’t drive, while also protecting our riders’ health.

What you can do

Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently. Cover your nose and mouth if you have to sneeze or cough. And use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content. Please stay home if you are sick.

Stay informed. The CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO) are updating their sites with the latest information. You can see those updates live right here: CDC.gov/Coronavirus

We’ll make updates on this blog post and also on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as things evolve.

If you have any questions at all we’re always available by phone at 313-444-2871 or via email at [email protected].

Small actions can make a big difference when everyone helps out — thanks for doing your part.

Always,

    Andy-man,
Thank you so much for caring for community and creating hand sanitizer. I live in Cali, can’t find any and when I do it’s a 4xs the amount you charge. Seriously this bites as I have been purchasing this stuff for decades as I am a live-in caregiver. To see people hiking prices is just whack, for now on I will be hittin up the “bus” & I can guarantee “I’ll Be Back”! Great to see hard working entrepreneur who not only pays it forward but makes sure his community doesn’t get left behind! Well done my friend!
